Senior Advisory Group ~ February 4th, 11 am
Evergreen Park residents ages 55+ are invited to join the library's newly-formed Senior Advisory Group to share ideas to improve the library's services, facilities, and programming for seniors. The Senior Advisory Group meets on the first Tuesday of the month through September 2020. Light refreshments will be served. Evergreen Park Public Library
Stampin' Up Cards ~ February 4th at 6:30 p.m.
Esther Thoele of Stampin' Up will teach you how to use decorative rubber stamps and accessories to make personal greeting cards. Participants will create different themed cards each month. Bring your own scissors and adhesive. Register for each class separately. Pay instructor directly. Evergreen Park Public Library
Yak and Yarn ~ February 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 6:30 p.m.
The Yak and Yarn Club is open to crocheters and beginning knitters as well. 6th grade - adult are welcome. Sessions are held in the library’s Reading Room. Beginning crochet students should bring an H/8 hook and skein of medium weight yarn; beginning knitters should bring size 8 needles and a skein of medium weight yarn. All others bring a current project you are working on to enjoy the camaraderie of crocheting and knitting with others. Evergreen Park Public Library
FULL-Houseplant Prop and Swap ~ February 11th from 6:30 to 7:30
Love plants, but don't want to spend money on more plants? Learn how to propagate various houseplants. Everyone will leave with cuttings for several common houseplants. Do you have some clippings to share? Bring some with you! Evergreen Park Public Library

Local artist Diane Shebelski will show you how to paint a whimsical "Wish" sign for your house.

Are you dying to tell everyone about that one book you just finished? Now's your chance! Meet with other lit lovers for a low-pressure book share, and talk about your most recent book obsessions while also growing your "To Read" list. FULL-Pour Paining ~ February 20th at 6:30 p.m.
Stephanie Sichelski will show us the acrylic pouring technique, a fun and easy way to create one-of-a-kind works of art. Even if you’ve never painted before and don’t consider yourself an artist, this technique is something anyone can do. Evergreen Park Public Library
Sip and Sample Fundraiser ~ February 22nd at 6:00 p.m.
Enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors sampling foods prepared by local chefs, specially paired with sips of wine and beer! Music provided by A Week Back. Split the pot and basket drawings, too!

Seed Swap Saturday ~ February 29th at 10 a.m.
Prepare for spring planting with a seed swap at the library! Bring saved or purchased seeds (non-GMO and organic), labeled with name and growing information, to swap with other gardeners.
